You'd think the trailer, lobby poster, popcorn bag, and ticket stub would be enough to adequately drill a movie's title into your skull. Evidently, you have to make it half of the script, too.
Because obviously audiences lured in to see a movie called "Lethal Weapon" needed that extra bit of exposition lest they leave going, "Lethal weapon? I mean there were weapons, sure, and they killed people, but I felt the title implied more than we were given…"
